Creating sacred space for relaxation

The Brief:
Our client came in with a small image of Buddha that was special to them and requested we develop their bathrooms around this. The colour palette and multiple textures in these bathrooms needed to be in alignment of feeling relaxed, natural and minimalist.

The Project:
We talked to a local illustrator to sketch this feature wall design then it was digitally created into Pixel glass mosaic tiles. We complemented this feature with a combination of textured large format tiles and natural oak cabinetry with soft milky porcelain sanitary-ware. The colour palette of this creation was very natural and calming on the eyes with graphite greys, natural clay, limestone, light oak and talcum powder white. The dark graphite tiles showcased the bespoke oak cabinetry and down lighting was positioned consciously under cabinets and in the shower niche for ambiance
